Although the Colombian Boxing Federation reported the death of boxer Luis Quiñones Thursday evening, the General Clinic of the North, in Barranquilla, denied this information.

“Unfortunately, he lost this battle, we express our most sincere condolences to all his family. Peace in his grave and resignation to the plans of God”, indicates the press release of the Federation, immediately taken up by the media of the country.
